THIS YEAR

Something that i have learned this year that i am proud of is games.I have learned that games have a lot  of different genres that can be used everywhere.One other thing is I'm proud of is my grades because they have improved over the year.Those are some things I'm proud of in globaloria.

THE LOTTERY

The movie we watched is called the lottery.It is about people that apply to their favorite school and their name gets drawn from a box.If their name is not picked they can not go to that school and  if they wanted to they could apply next year. The school that the people applied for was called Harlem Success Academy.A lot of people wanted to get into the school because it was a really good school a lot of people where sad because they applied but they did not get in.This was a really good school because a lot of people applied but it was really sad because they started to cry when their name was not called. it was a really hard time back then because a lot of people wanted to get in that school.

THE ROCK

I am reading a book called Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson by James A Corric.It is about a a dinamic and colorful wrestler.He attracts attention both inside and outside of the ring.His feuds with other wrestling greats resulted in some of the talked-about in wrestling history.My favorite parts are the pictures in this book.He became the first African-American to hold the world wrestling entertainment worl championship title,on he went to capture six more titles and i think i can relate to that because i never give up and that is what Dwayne aka THE ROCK did.The next thing i think is going to happen is how he becomes even more and more famous throughout his life.Dwayne Jhonson is the son and grandson of proffesional wrestlers. When he was growing up he wanted to be a proffesional football player but that did not work out so great so thats how he became a proffesional wrestler.That is what i read about so far.

CLASSES

I like our new schedule.Our classes are o.k. ever since we switched classes i have met  a lot of new friends.The only time i see my old friends is at lunch or during passing periods and we hardlt ever talk now because i run to all my classes from the main building to the portables.My friend Johnathan Cortez does not talk to me that much any more because we both have new friends and hang around different and new people.I like the schedules though because i got to meet new people.I like that we are know like a regular middle school.

• Imagine and describe one game idea that incorporate your topic into one of these genres.

My game idea is: RULES:only three players,kill the bully by shooting them 3 times with paint ball guns,can pick only 1 out of 3 players the killer,the bully or the kid that gets picked on.The big harry ugly mean bully picks on him because his name is bubbles.The bully will not stop picking on the little kid named bubbles so the killer has to kill the bully with paintball guns so he will leave bubbles alone.The only problem is when the bully sees the killer he pulls out his paint ball gun and you only have 30 seconds to kill the bully before he kills you.You can take cover but only two times behind a big rock.You have to kill the bully while he is running around in circles shooting at you at the same time.When you kill him you have to take the boy that was getting picked on home,if you don't kill him he still gets to pick on bubbles.

GAME

I liked the racing genre and i played drift runners.One fact i learned is that this genre can relate to real-world situations.This genre can be based on real life situations that you might go through in a car on the street or somewhere else.This genre is cool and i think other people and also myself can earn from it.

DEREK JETER

The book i am reading is called Derek Jeter.It is about a baseball pleyer dreaming to become the player he is today.Now he is a proffesional baseball player and his dream came true.Derek Jeter is single.He does not have any kids and he wants to get married.When they call him from the New York Yankees and offer hin thousands of dallars he does not know weather to say yes or no because his sister is in a colma and he does not want to play baseball till she is not sick anymore.Derek Jeter loves his sister and he made an oath that he will not play till she is better and not ill.It is about a guy named Derek Jeter and he plays for the New York Yankees.It is about the history and what the New York Yankees are going through.I have not got that far in the book so i can not really say that much about it  because I'm not finished with the book yet.So far it is a really good book and i want to read it all.

GLOBALORIA

My biggest challenge in globaoria is blogging.I overcame that challenge by making my blogs colorful,bigger,and different font sizes.When i do that stuff it is more fun and entertaining to read.So that is why i do all that stuff.That is my biggest challenge in globaloria overcame it.

MOVIE

The movie clip was really sad.I wanted to cry so bad.When they found out that the Jewish people that have been living in the attic of the office for two years it was really sad.I thought that they were going to live and become free.It turns out i was wrong and the father was the only one that lived because he escaped all the other Jewish people died and that made me want to cry so bad.That is like me dying at about the age twelve.It was a really sad movie.When somebody called and told the police that they have been hiding it made me feel like beating that person up.Yesterday when we watched the movie and i thought if you think about it it does not really make sense.If the people that killed Anne frank and her family put themselves in their position they would have done the same thing for her family and Friends if they were Jewish.That is why it kinda does not make sense once you think about it like that.It is really kinda dumb to because the other people that killed Anne frank and her family would have done the same thing.Not that i don't care but in my opinion it is really weird what they did to the Jewish people in the movie The Diary Of Anne Frank.

MINI GAME

My favorite part of the mini game project was when we made the bunny appear on the screen and made it go up,down,left,and right.My least favorite part of the mini game project was when the carrot was on the screen and it did not do anything.One thing i would like to learn for my mini game project is how to add numbers and words so it won't be boring and how to change the color of stuff.Right now the mini game project is turning out great.It is better now that the bunny and the carrot can move.I can not wait till i finish the game and i get to play it.It is going to be a really cool game .I am so eager to play the game already.

Weekly Blog♥☺☻

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥Today we started our mini game.The characters were a bunny,a wolf,a carrot,and chocolate.I learned how to move things on the mini game from one place to another.Today the mini game that we made is not finished.We are going to finish it the next time we come to globaloria.I can't wait to see how the game turns out.One of my successes in globaloria is how many blogs i have done and how much i have learned about computers.Globaloria is one of my most successful classes of the week.Its only been a couple of weeks that we have been in school and we already almost finished a mini game.We did not get that far into the game because we are still working on it.It is going to be a cool game once we finish it.Right now it is not that cool of a game but I'm planing to make it awesome.We did not get ahead in the game that much all we did was make the carrot move from one place to another it is not that cool to where i can play it all day but it will be when i finish making it.The hardest thing this week for me has been blogging.I do not have that much to say about anything sometimes .I get so frustrated by talking about the same thing over and over.Yesterday we learned how to animate.We made the carrot move left to right faster and faster.I put mine on six hundred and it went super fast i could not even see it go by.It was so awesome.I wish i could move that fast.Yesterday we did not get that far either we only got to like step four of five.Yesterday we got to about step number six and we are almost done.I can't wait to see how the game is going to turn out.I am so excited to finish the mini game and be done.I know for shure that we are going to  finish our mini game today and if we don't I'm going to be so frustrated because we have been working on the mini game for four days already and we still have not finished. I hope we finish making our game at least this week of I'm not going to have fun playing the game.Yesterday we were so close to finishing ,but we didn't.We made the bunny go up,down,left,and right.The carrot was just moving side to side it was still awesome.I hope we finish next week at least.I want to finish it already.

HITLER

Today's video was about how Hitler killed families.The movie was really sad it was very touching.I wanted to cry i learned that they shot them and then they burned them in the fire and all the smoke went up through the chimney.I did not think the video was funny.I thought of myself in the speakers position.They killed six million people in the fire.They bought a rail car and put all of the paper clips that they had into it.The rail car was not big but it brought back a whole lot of memories.to kids that were not even alive at that time.When they walked into the little rail car it was so toughing i wanted to cry.yesterday in globaloria we went on brain pop about uor social issues that we are studying for our games.my topic is bullying so that is what kind of videoes i watched.I did not learn anything new from the brain pop everything that they mentioned i already knew so it was not that exciting or interesting.Yesterday in globaloria we went to different websites and looked at ideas for our games for our social issues and i looked at bullying.

COMMUNICATION

I think some ways that are used on the Internet to communicate are e-mail, myspace, facebook,and twitter.I think the best one to communicate is by e-mail because it is easy.It gets to people faster.You can change font color and a lot of other stuff.That is why i think e-mail is a good website to communicate and not myspace,facebook,or twitter are the best ways to communicate.

HEALTH

What can i do to live a healthier life.I think what i can do to change that is by not eating burgers anymore until they make them healthier and more good to eat.When they cut them up they leave all the waste and dirt all over them.That is what i am going to do to make my life healthier.They just cook them like whatever they don't clean the cows right What are you going to do Leave a comment to tell me.

Today I'm going to the a/b honor roll party and the no referral dance.It is going to be awesome.At the a/b honor roll party we are going to have pizza and drinks.In my backpack i have my cloths that i am going to wear for the dance after school.I am going to be tired when i get home.YEAH BOY.

GAME RESEARCH

For my game research i chose bullying.I chose this topic because i think it is really important .I don't think its a subject to laugh about.I have never bullied and i never will and i want to get that message out to the world so they can know that I am not a bully.I have never in my life picked on a kid.That is what i picked for my game research.

CHALLENGES

My biggest challenge in globaloloria is blogging.When i blog regularly it is really boring.To fix that I add color,make the font size bigger,and change the font design.That is what makes my blogs more entertaining.That is my biggest challenge of the semester in globaloria.

Today I'm going to the movies with my friends Dezarae,Mercedes,Dennae,and Dajon.We are going to go watch paranormal activity number two then we are going to go sneak into another movie called jack*** 3d.It is going to be so fun.We are going around six o'clock and we are going to the movie theater Tinseltown.Yeah party all night long.

To me out of the  movies  that we watched in class i think dirt was my favorite.It did not show dead thing it they did not kill animals and it was more interesting.The other one was shocking and terrifying and made me want to throw up.It was really gross.I have not eaten Mc.Donalds in one week and its because of that movie that we watched also we stoped going to all of those fast food places because it is getting too expensive and my parents are just wasting money by feeding us that junk.That is why Dirt the Movie was more interesting to me than the other movie.

The movie we watched is called dirt.It is a really cool movie.I learned that dirt is very alive and helpful.It helps you see the beauty of life.Dirt is a thing to really think about.Right now i want to go outside and just roll in dirt all day.I see dirt in a whole new way now.I found out that if we the people do not take care of dirt the world could end and when that is happening and we want to save the earth it will already be too late and we will all die just because of dirt.Dirt is really important and it is not a topic to joke about it is a really serious situation.If you watch that movie you are going to see dirt in a whole different way.Its a life changing experience.

YAY its Friday!!!!!!!!Going to have fun over the weekend going to the movies again my dad just got paid yesterday.I don't know what I'm going to watch yet but its going to be fun.We got to go to a field trip tomorrow aw man not cool i got to spend my Saturday at school.

I'm so happy that today is back to school night.My mom is going to be so proud of me.One thing i accomplished is our first book report for English class.I saw my poster that i made book report in the hallway it was so cool i was so happy for my.My mom and dad are going to be so proud of me tonight.Im so lucky i have two wonderful parents that inspire me to do things.Tonight is going to be so cool.

wooooohooooo today is Friday going to have so much fun.Tomorrow is my sisters birthday party and we are going to party all night long.She is going to be sooo happy.She does not know about it.It's a surprise shhhhhhhhh.But i have soccer practice ugh so hot.

WHAT HAVE I LEARNED ABOUT SOCIAL ISSUES

I learned that social issues do not just affect us they affect everybody.Social issues are really important.They are really serious because they are killing our trees,animals,and harming our environment's.Someone should put a stop to social issues.Social issues are really dangerous in a lot of peoples life.

Least Effective Learning Game

The game that thought me the least is gravity.The social issue or educational topic that the game explores is outer space.It teaches you how to make a ball through planet rings.The genre is sports.It is not a good genre because outer space has nothing to do with sports.Yes the game looks good and no it does not clearly illustrate the issue or learning concept.No it is not clear of what you need to do as a player.I want to learn how to make a basketball into a basketball net,make nothing but nets,shoot free throws.I think they should turn the planets into basketball nets.Then it will be cool and i would want to play it all day because basketball is really cool.That is my least affective learning game.

Most Effective Learning Game

The game that taught me the most was drift runners.The social issue that the game explores is drifting.You can learn how to turn the corner in a car really really fast instead of slowing down.The genre is racing.Yes i think this is a good genre for this game because it is about racing and that is the genre.Yes the game looks good and yes it clearly illustrates the issue and the learning concept.It is clear on what you need to do in the game.The game does work well.I would change the sound and put cool music.I want to learn how to hit 60 mph in 7 seconds,how to jump a ramp in a car,and how to land on all four wheels when you jump a ramp.

A social issue is global warming.I think global warming is a problem because because people don't really think about what they are doing to earth.They think that littering wont harm the environment.To me global warming is serious.I want to put an end to global warming.I want to make a change in the world.

WhooooHoooooooooo its Friday.Im going to the movies with my friend gonna have so much fun.Everyones invited if u need a ride call me. Your gonna pay for yourself.Party at my house were going to raise the roof hoot hoot.Im so happy.

My favorite type of game.

My favorite kind of game is action.I like action because i like to kill people and blow stuff up on the games that i play.I like action because when you blow stuff up you can watch it happen again in slow motion.If you shoot people in the head their head blows off.When you shoot the deer that walk in the woods they stars limping so its easyer to kill them for more points.Also all you have to do to get points is kill people and they just run.
