the big test

I cant believe the TAKS test is next week.I am very nervous about it.I am so scared to take it.I am so scared and i don't even want to take the TAKS.I am very nervous.When TAKS is over Ms.Rocha said that we can have a fun week.She said we can come in our pajamas and stuff like that.I want to beat the crap out of the TAKS.The TAKS test is so stupid i wish they never made it.It is so hard and we learn enough in school and we get a lot of homework and stuff.The test is retarded because when we grow up and get a job were not going to have to answer multiple choice questions.I wish Taks was as easy as kinder garden homework because that's how stupid it is taking the TAKS.

iPads for kids

I think it is really cool that kids get to use iPads at their school.My opinion is that it is wonderful but its kind of not fair for the other students because only second and third graders get to use them.Their are a lot of advantages and kind of a lot of disadvantages.Some advantages are that while you are using the iPad you can have fun and learn at the same time.You can also pay more attention because you start getting more and more excited about learning in your classroom and going to school.Some disadvantages are that if you don't trust someone in your classroom by themselves how will you be able to trust them with the iPad.Another disadvantage is that you might accidentally break it if it falls on the floor or something.Also someone might take a iPad at home and you might never even know.I would love to have iPads at our school because they are cool but i kind of dont want to have iPads because they cost a lot and i don't  think the school wants to pay for iPads for each classroom,expecially since were in middle school and we have six periods in one day.☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☺☻☻☺

game demo progress

We have made a lot of progress on our game and our game demo this week.We have about eight scenes already posted on our wiki team page.I have learned a lot about flash.I have learned how to make the characters move,change from one direction to another,and how to make the characters jump.I am very proud about everything i have accomplished in flash.One thing that i have not accomplished in flash is that i still cant figure out how to make the characters walk,i can only make them move.It is really hard trying to make them walk.

Audience: Who are you designing your game for, and why? Sixth grade and younger because it teaches you not to bully and if you see somebody get bullied then go tell an adult.

Game play: What does the player see and do? What are the rules and how do you win? What is the goal of the game? The player sees a kid named bubbles and his job is to go tell an adult before the bully and his friends beat the bystander up.The rules are to get to the principal or the cops before the bully catches you and to run faster you can get power ups.You win by telling an adult so the bully can get in trouble.The goal is to not get caught by the bully and his crew.

Learning Goal: What will the player learn by playing this game? The player will learn not to bully and to be a good and better person.

Fun Factor: What makes your game fun for the player? He gets a chance to help out a little boy that gets bullied and he gets to be proud of himself.

Smart Factor: What does your game teach? What can someone learn by playing it? It teaches you to be a good guy or girl and something you can learn by playing it is not to bully.

Style Factor: What kind of graphic/animation style will you use? What kind of sounds? He will be jumping over objects and running and the sounds are like little dings and little chimes and little stuff like that.

Originality Factor: What makes your game special and unique? Why will it sell?It is special because you learn not to bully and to tell on people even if they call you a snitch or a tattle tale.

What was the biggest challenge you faced while working on your game this week? It was hard because  every time i traced something and then i couldn't color it.
How do you feel about what you have done? i feel really good because i accieved a lot.
Are you proud of what you have accomplished or frustrated because of something you haven't figured out yet?No I'm not frustrated i am proud of what i have done.

Dear Obama,

blogging about blogging

If i went to a school that did not have blogging i think it would be difficult because we already got used to blogging and it would probably be really hard to get in the habit of not logging in to blogger anymore.I would say to the admissions that it is not fair because blogging gives us a chance to work on our grammer and our writing.Blogging is really good for students .Blogging has advantages and some disadvantages.some disadvantages are that if we mess up and we post the blog without even paying attention it could make the whole blog mess up.

This movie was very cool.It was about a boy named Michael Oher also known as big mike.He is a bum because his mom left him when he was a little boy.He was adopted by Leigh Ann Tuohy and Sean Tuohy.His brother's name is Sean Jr also known as S.J.His sister's name was Collins.The school that he went to is called Wingate Christian School.When he was little he lived in a really bad neighborhood.They wanted big mike to go to a college called Ole Miss.They couldn't stand Tennessee so he chose to go to Ole miss.
