paper prototype experience

My games learning topic is English / language arts.I want the kids and teenagers that play my game to understand that school can be boring or you can make it fun.To some people E.L.A is probably the most boring class ever but i think its the best class.My research was me asking my english teacher for help and using Google.When i started making my game i wanted it to be really hard but then i changed my mind because it could have been too hard and then people wouldn't want to play it as much as the other games.The wiki has been my best resource so far because without it i could lose my files and it has all the game ingredients on there that i need.The hardest part of my game is when i was putting in codes because even if it is just a little mistake its not going to work so everything has to be perfect.I got help on this part because i couldn't take the risk of messing up my whole game for some little reason. I'm proud of my drawings because that was the most fun of the whole game.

This was not my first time working in flash because I've been here at EACPA for three years already but the codes i put in did not take that long i just had to copy and paste into my actions and then add a little more stuff and take away more stuff.it was fun working on this game.the next game we do i want to make it very hard to beat like Michael Alvarez.his games are cool.

Drawing my background in flash was very easy.What i had problems with was my hidden objects.The background was the first thing i had done because it was easy and i used different tools that were different.

I didnt have a problem making my paper prototype.It was very easy.My game is going to be cool.

I really like the topic of my game because it is challenging to make a game about e.l.a.I know that it is goint to be hard to makebut i belive in myself to do it on my own.Ive been in globaloria for two years now and i think im ready to make a game on my own.The two years i made a game was with a partner or as a class.I am going to make a really fun game but its going to be very challenging.

My topic is going to be E.L.A because it is my favorite subject in class and i like to learn about it.I like this topic because some people are really smart and they can make a cool game but at the same time your learning. I'm going to make my game hard but easy.Its going to be so much fun and helpful to kids my age.I have played many boring games and fun ones so i have a lot of ideas on what to do in my game.My hidden object game is going to be hard along the way but i think that at the end it is going to be worth my effort in doing.

 I really didn't learn anything by playing these games because they were very easy to pass.On the other hand i did get ideas for my game.Im going to make my game more harder and challenging for my friends and people who play it.The games ive been playing are easy.They are like little kid games.Im going to work very hard on my game.I have hope in myself that i could win the globey awards this year.

Back to School

This school year so far has been weird.Some positive things i have experienced so far is that ive been spending time with my friends.This school is bigger than last year so that's good too.The teachers are really cool too.This school is too strict,i know its college prep but last year was strict and fun.My mom is planning on moving me schools because she doesn't like it here.She didn't have any problem with it last year.My mom said the school has too many kids and too little teachers.We don't even have a cafeteria.Last year at East Austin College Prep it was better because their was not that many kids and the class sizes were bigger with less kids.Their is too many kids in this school and that doesn't mean they should get kicked out.The school year barely started and their already kicking kids out.Were young adults and we need chances.Adults make mistakes all the time and they don't get fired for doing it so why shouldn't we get multiple chances.I'm a good kid but i know how to be bad.Ive already been in I.S.S and i know what i did was bad but that was my first time getting in trouble.

A marathon is a long-distance running race,mostly a length of 26 miles and 385 yards.People run marathons so they can feel good about themselves and so they can learn how to not give up.The story that i found most interesting was the one of Ryan Bradley.I liked this story because he never gave up even when his knee was injured and he still chose to run the marathon and even though he had a lot of doubts about himself he still followed his dream to run in the Boston marathon.

My Game

My final game is a platform game about the oil spill.In my game the hero is a diver and the diver is different in both levels.What i like about my game is that we have enemies that are hard to get through and we have a bunch of coins and that is what make our game more fun for kids to play.I also like the platforms because this is my first time making a platform game. I could have made my game longer just because its so short or i could have made it harder so its more difficult to get to the next level and beat the game.I also could have made my here move backward by flipping over because all it does is reverse.I wanted to put more enemies on my game but it kept messing up so i didn't get to do that because i died automatically and my game wouldn't have been fun if that happen.

Final Game Reflection

I learn a lot this year and by working on my game i learned that we have a lot of social issues in our earth and community.This year was amazing and i learned way more stuff than i did last year.I also learned how to do cool stuff in flash.I now know how to make a stick figure animated and i know all about the frames and stuff.I think i have gotten better with typing and working in flash because that's mainly the only things that we do.I am doing much better to learn how to solve problems on my own unlike last year because now i know that there is other people in this world that don't get to have the experience that i do in my Globaloria classroom.I like working better in a team because if you get stuck or frustrated along the way your partner or teammate is there to help you and by yourself you have to figure out how to do thins on your own.I know i can do a lot of things with computers now because when i was little i didn't know nothing about computers all i used to do is play games and now i actually know how computers work and things like that.I can use what i learned in Globaloria in my later life because now that i know a lot i can get a better job and have a better career than what i planned to have when i was growing up.The most challenging part of this year was making the platform game because we all had to work together and people kept messing up so we had to stop and go step by step.Here is my partner and I's game....

Platform Game Project

      I have enjoyed this project but  getting all the codes to work the way i wanted them too was a little difficult.When we started this project i thought we were just going to copy the codes and when i found out we had to write the codes i knew it was going to take more time.At first i could not get my game to work and i went over the codes at least four times and i was on the verge of giving up.One of my friends got it to work and now it looks really cool i was so happy when i saw it worked.

     I learned never to give up when you are working in flash because one way or another it is going to end up working and if you give up at the end your going to regret giving up when everybody elses game works and yours doesn't.This whole thing was a learning experience to me and i think i learned a lot and while doing it i had fun.

     I strive to do my best in all of my projects but in this one i did my best out of all of my projects.I think i did my best the most in this project and it was fun.My least favorite thing was when she did not get our games to work.This project was challenging.

During the time that we have been working on our game i learned that we should take better care of our planet because it is going to be hard to live in our later life if all of earth is polluted.I came to learn this because i have been doing a lot of research so my game can turn out good.The website that helped me the most would have to be Wikipedia because it game me a lot of information that i needed to know for my game.I know i can trust Wikipedia so i know i can trust their information that they give out to the whole world.This is going to be a very interesting topic to learn more about.

2012

What do i want to accomplish in 2012?I want to have better grades in all of my classes.I want to make myself succeed.I think this is all i want to accomp lish so far
